Guys, its official, over Christmas I found the best holiday jumper and it is all down to my lovely mum-in-law and dad-in-law who found this cute grey sweater from Marks and Spencer’s. Before this jumper the only seasonal number I had was Will Ferrel’s face on both a jumper and a t-shirt. Super fun and reflective of my teen/uni days but not exactly refined.
This one however can be worn to work, parties, Sunday walks… the only problem is this can you wear an alpine inspired sweater after Christmas or is that bad luck? Because here is the thing I only had it for a week over Christmas break, obviously it will be perfect for next year but what about right now?
This photo is also a little old (ok, two weeks) but if I can’t work it I can at least show it off and also, I’ve recently noticed, I have a serious grey addiction.
It’s almost a dangerous obsession. The other day? I went to work in a grey sweater and these jeggings, the only switch up? Blue suede boots and this red faux fur stole. I was more grey than I was anything else.
To try and break up the damage with my lovely winter sweater I pulled out these extravaganza boots from Clarks+ Which btw I have been wearing as often as I possibly can. But thats another talk for another day, the one I want to explore today is this, grey. Can you actually wear a whole grey outfit and get away with it?
Navy, black even white as a whole outfit completely passable but grey? It’s almost too much of a neutral to get away with without a great pop of Burgundy to break it up right?
p.s. these boots? Probably my favourite thing of 2018 so far….
